Leche

Leche is a bad word in the Philippines...
PERO!
When translated in English, it means milk.
One of the lamest words... MILK!
How can that be a curse word?
I mean, 'di ba?
There's even a joke... A big fat bully--maton--comes in a bar, sits, and bangs his fist on the counter. Everyone looks at him feeling scared... Then, he asks for milk... And that makes him the biggest baby!
So, why is leche such a bad word?
It means milk...!
Babies drink milk... They encourage us to drink milk. We even say it with family like in the words leche flan or pastillas de leche. It has calcium... It's supposed to be good for your health!
-But actually some are still arguing if milk really has that much calcium :]] -

ANYWAY!

Search it on Google images.

You may get this: milk; leche
You decide.

Leche
Leche... A word, misunderstood.
